I'm sure most of us will have seen the usual substandard crappy plates like "SHA22A" on a Mitsubishi Mirage with the obligatory pink tat, or "XTRM8R" on a VT SS with 19 inch alloys on the front and steels on the rear, but every so often I see a plate that is actually quite clever.

Today's was, I think, one of the best:

SWL10T

On a mobile crane smile

Anyone else seen anything good?

I liked the one on a beautiful very red 66 Mustang at the local tyre shop.

it was --- "HOT 40". I asked the fitter how hot it was. He said, "not it, her".

I saw her later, & he was dead right. She'd had "HOT 39" the previous year.

I have seen

ALF 51X

on a Mazda 3, which I thought was quite clever. Understated too, as it was a battered black-on-white NSW plate.
