Not sure if these are still available, just though I would post it up because it seems a shame they are just sitting idle.

Only one Sag here as far as I know, and don't think he has any intention of selling at the moment.

Few T350s on Carsales (cough cough).

No, should have said, they are all wedges 3-350i & 1-390se
Probably '86 to late '88.
I'll try and cut/ paste
Not sure if they are still available and I've not seen them I just know they are/were there and think its a shame because they are great cars, easy'ish to maintain sound awesome and great performance.
I'm on my second wedge and lovin it.

1 x 390 SE (Qld compliance) 3 x 350i. All with import approval. From $13, 360 + gst. Located Brisbane. 0410 017 455 John

Not the best quality pictures but you get the idea, there is plenty of info on the wedge forum here on PH.

TVR's just dont seem to sell here as most have no idea what they are. The Tuscans/ Cerb/ Chim's on carsales have been up for ages, some over a year that I know of!

These seem more reasonable than the 35k S thats been floating around

If I'd have had the time and money, I'd have brought one over with me.

I imported mine as a private import pre '89 but one of these wedges (the390 being the rarest) would be a cheep fun way to get into a British sports car that goes and sounds like a sports car should.

TVR prices are bonkers for a car never sold here. That narrows the market to plucky Brits who, being entirely likely to be car nuts, will really question the value to be had.

I'd love one, but not at the asking.

Thing is, compare them to anything similar in terms of performance/looks and you'll see the values aren't too crazy for the market here.

I was looking at cars to replace mine, and it's hard to get something fast and nice for under 100k.

They were sold here!!! Not many but........

Really? Bonkers??
Nah
Unique, yes
More brass than class, mmmmm, ok
But value for money, well.......
Sags are increasing in the uk and there is only one here in oz....
Tuscans & t350 are few and far between also
There's a few griffs, the most common is the Chimeras......
All of the above can only be purchased here you cannot import one unless its a personal import,so unless you can go and spend upward of 12 months in the uk, buy one, insure it for 12 months and then ship it pay the duty and all the other expenses buy which time you've done a few $$$$$.
Or
A pre 89
Tasmin
M
S
350i
400se if you can find an early one.

The ones above are already here, they've been there a while so I'm not sure how negotiable the owner would be, I just hate seeing a rare car being left in a field.

Well I've not seen one sell since I've been looking at cars here and that started in December last year!

I would suggest that many are not for sale but up for sale, if that makes sense.

I don't particularly want to sell mine, as I mentioned before it would be difficult to find anything comparable for the same money.

I think that's part of the problem - carsales.com allows perpetual adverts so people put unrealistic prices up and sit and wait which make everything look ridiculous.

I had a quiet day in the office last week so trawled some of the more specialist searches I was looking at before I came out here and almost all of the cars appear to still be for sale!

Yes I found that strange, no reason not to put your car up for sale if they charge $60 for as long as you like!!!

I have both the Lotus and 911 up for sale on carsales - both reasonable prices and both still unsold.

I have had stupid offers but I am in no rush to sell. I have both cars insured for the asking price (agreed value) so they are obviously worth that much. I think the 911 has been up for two months and the Lotus must be nearly three weeks.

I have a Chimaera sitting in a garage in the UK but decided not to bring it over as it would be nearly impossible to sell, I now use it as my holiday car.
