Discussion
Not sure if these are still available, just though I would post it up because it seems a shame they are just sitting idle.

TVR prices are bonkers for a car never sold here. That narrows the market to plucky Brits who, being entirely likely to be car nuts, will really question the value to be had.
I'd love one, but not at the asking.
They were sold here!!! Not many but........I'd love one, but not at the asking.
Really? Bonkers??
Nah
Unique, yes
More brass than class, mmmmm, ok
But value for money, well.......
Sags are increasing in the uk and there is only one here in oz....
Tuscans & t350 are few and far between also
There's a few griffs, the most common is the Chimeras......
All of the above can only be purchased here you cannot import one unless its a personal import,so unless you can go and spend upward of 12 months in the uk, buy one, insure it for 12 months and then ship it pay the duty and all the other expenses buy which time you've done a few $$$$$.
Or
A pre 89
Tasmin
M
S
350i
400se if you can find an early one.
The ones above are already here, they've been there a while so I'm not sure how negotiable the owner would be, I just hate seeing a rare car being left in a field.

I think that's part of the problem - carsales.com allows perpetual adverts so people put unrealistic prices up and sit and wait which make everything look ridiculous.
I had a quiet day in the office last week so trawled some of the more specialist searches I was looking at before I came out here and almost all of the cars appear to still be for sale!

I have both the Lotus and 911 up for sale on carsales - both reasonable prices and both still unsold.
I have had stupid offers but I am in no rush to sell. I have both cars insured for the asking price (agreed value) so they are obviously worth that much. I think the 911 has been up for two months and the Lotus must be nearly three weeks.
I have a Chimaera sitting in a garage in the UK but decided not to bring it over as it would be nearly impossible to sell, I now use it as my holiday car.
