Recruiting in darwin

I'm looking to hire an GM to run a small branch operation in Darwin.

The business is related to the print and photocopiers industry but is moving more into IT services.

Ideally they will have great contacts with local business and particularly Government.

Would suit either experienced GM or someone looking to make the step up from a sales management role and has lots of drive and motivation.

A friend of mine currently works in this area, I have forwarded on this to see if she is interested, if not she might know someone who is.

She is more man than you or I but I will vouch for her- top chick, know her brother pretty well too.

Will be in touch when she responds.

You will find you might struggle however, its a very small market.

I work for the government in a fairly high position- all our printing is done under contract and thats in place for a few years yet. Photocopiers are free to be purchased by individual departments but all finance currently on hold or slashed due to government change late last year. We lost about 30 people from our department.
