can you start a section for Australia so I can do that, pretty sure a PH'er in Solihull isnt going to pop over to look at my (comparitively hideously expensive) vehicles. Completely different market here as well as many thousands of miles difference.

I second that Garlick.

We have used PH for many years and have no desire to circumvent PH rules but its literally pointless having our cars in the PH classifieds.

Surely a good outcome would be for a sticky in each location, a member can submit their car for sale to you and this can be uploaded by a mod/the site. That way you control it.

There aren't many on here that you'll get swamped.

So just to be clear I could not link to say a Carsales ad for my MX-5, neither could I put details in a post like "For Sales 2000 MX-5 $11k" etc.... But I could say put something like....

Agree with all the foregoing, seemed a bit harsh to shut James thread down, after all as has been pointed out the Australian market is completely different to UK market with cars twice the price! Any Australian advert in the regular classified section would just be a waste of space.

Just to add that the small number of us in this neck of the woods, and infrequent turnover of our garages (thanks to silly prices and stamp duty on sales) means that probably only a very small number of cars will be advertised in this section:

I'm with the other Aussies on this, PH classifieds won't work for us but you could apply the same rules ie only allowed to advertise on the forum for free with a certain membership length, we wouldn't be getting anything the other (UK) users aren't but at the moment we're missing out.
