What was moto up to today?
Discussion
As my friends and I work shift-work, quite a few nights and weekends. One of the benefits is being able to go for a weekday drive up in the hills.
As Clubmans are being talked about elsewhere, I will start with the "organising committee"... in his "Rocket-propelled" clubman, very slow, not!
A Megane RS 265 Trophy 808, sounded good under acceleration. Had to look the name up, it is so long.
A Falcon GS (supercharged one, also sounded good under acceleration) and an Octavia VRS wagon, also part of the "organising committee".
A Porsche Boxter S
A cafe racer motorbike, Triumph Thruxton?
And the "moto"-ute which was in stealth mode because I forgot to take any photos of it...idiot.
Supposed to have one of those new fan-dangled Mercs with us too, but he only picked it up on Monday. He sold his Evo 9 to buy it, that was a nice car. Best handling thing I have driven.
Big thumbs-up to the 1990 vintage Corolla SX Seca that led the way at one stage...thought we were going to get stuck behind him, but he was going just nicely thank-you! Turned out to be a local so he knew the road very well.
It was good to see all the re-building that has gone on up there too, after the 2009 bushfires.
