Skiing

Was thinking about going skiing for a weekend in August time.

Anyone have any recommendations or tips on the NSW snowfields?

its expensive!

We went down to Canberra 2/3 years ago to Mount Kosioko (or however its spelt). We found out after it would have probably been cheaper to go skiing in NZ.

Im going in July, snowboarding though, look at Perisher or Threadbo and stay in Jindabyne. Will echo the above as its very expensive

I had heard it was bad, was thinking of staying somewhere that was away from the slopes just for the Fri or Sat night and driving in.

thought was finish work early on Friday, head up and get Sat & half of Sunday on the slopes before driving back.

Mrs has never skied before so could put her in the creche.

we stayed in Canberra itself about an hours drive from the slopes. Still expensive and Canberra is a sh*thole. No amount of money could make me live there!
