In Perth and looking for a new TV or Home Cinema gear?
Discussion
A quick heads-up for anyone looking for new TV or home cinema hardware - We went into Harvey Norman in Osborne Park on Saturday looking for a new TV and found that they're closing the TV department at the Guthrie Street store because there is another Harvey Norman very close-by.
Picked up a $749 Panasonic LED TV for $250
I know its normal here to haggle over the sticker price but that is an amazing discount.
Apparently they have to clear everything which is an end-of-line model or ex-display before the end of the week. That store is becoming a kitchen goods store only.
I was looking at a nice Yamaha home cinema setup with a sticker price of over $1000 and the guy offered it for $400 (The wife said no )
There was a reasonable amount of stuff left on Saturday but almost all TVs between 21" and 40" had gone.
