We bought a few old VHS tapes with us, mostly family home movies etc. However, we sold our UK VHS player a while ago when we moved in with the in-laws preceding our move to Perth.

Now we have a bunch of tapes that we cant watch, because all the local VHS machines on gumtree etc. are NTSC format and our tapes are PAL.

So, if you bought a VHS player with you and are looking to get rid of it, please get in touch.

Probably easier just to get the tapes transferred to DVD

D'oh!

Turns out its the front AV connection on the TV that doesnt work correctly! Connected the VHS player to the rear connection on the TV and it works fine.

Just ignore me.
