One thing that I really notice here is how Aussie drivers don't seem very co-operative when you want to change lanes.

I'll be driving down the freeway or round town, wait until a reasonable gap opens up then indicate to pull out - most drivers here then seem to accelerate to close the gap to block you in, rather than just maintaining speed to let you out.

Just me? Maybe they don't like Land Rovers...

That's why you need a mini, zip in and out before they get the chance to stop you! biglaugh

Drive like an Arab Mattt - you know the 'push in and expect to be pushed in upon' mentality works a treat...


....except in the UK where it makes people literally want to kill you!

it is weird...we just don't appear to understand merging frown drives me crazy.

Oh I do, gave up trying to be polite!

One thing I gave up from the Middle East was the horn though, people used to get a bit shocked when I would drive up behind them and beep to get out the way!
