Thursday is silly and anyway I can't make it.

Friday possibly.

Saturday lunch would suit me best.

ETA Saturday would likely be the only one that might attract the Novacastrians too.

The usual Sydney Beers is at the Lord Nelson in The Rocks - a decent boozer that brews its own dark (and light) ales. Usually good for food too. http://www.lordnelsonbrewery.com/

I am heading to the UK for my Mothers funeral so unfortunately Vanessa and myself cannot attend. The plan was to bring the camper down to Sydney (from Newcastle) and stay over but events have dictated otherwise. Hope to catch up with the Sydneyites soon (Aussie day in Newcastle with a trundle and homemade curry thrown in ?)

Enjoy a good day out and we hope to catch up soon.

Bob,

Really sorry to hear of your loss. You and Vanessa are in my thoughts. Lets get together when you guys are back and celebrate your mothers life with a few drinks.

Much as I'd like to meet you Mattt, and overdue as we are for a catchup Thang, I make the following observations:

  • poor turnout due to unavailability
  • the road is long for me
  • a friend who's birthday it is seems in need of a drinky chat tomorrow afternoon local
Hate to stamp on this, but the numbers are too low for dropouts without it breaking down.

A January meet that works better for more?

Condolences Bob, hope things are as easy as they can be.

Would love to come a meet a few more of you, but my days of lazily drinking a Saturday afternoon away are behind me. And also in front of me, just as soon as the little blighters are old enough to take care of themselves for a bit. Happy to come along on a weekday evening in Jan.

I was actually going to post the same thing.

Perhaps Bob's idea of a January drive out is better!

Jan drive out suits us, should have a suitable chariot by then too. Be good to catch up with you guys again.

Bob, all the best mate.
