New toy arrives in a couple of weeks. Don't know any fun driving roads around Sydney so if a couple of people feel like getting together for a pre-Christmas bimble?

I'd be up for it, won't have the TVR arriving till January however so might need to jump in with someone if they've got a spare pass seat!

Often find myself out for a midweek evening pootle. Usually head up around Kuringgai and Terrey Hills for narrow road action. Mccarrs Creek is a favourite. Or at least it is for as long as I have the Mazda...

Had it on an overnight test and did almost exactly that route (guessed the direction!)

Palmy, Church Point, Kuring-gai. Certainly convinced me to buy it.

McCarrs Creek Rd always been a fav of mine, run down to Palm Beach is nice too and back along wakehurst parkway or Mona Vale road. Another longer drive is down thru Royal National Park then down to Bulli, thru Wollongong and down to Kiama then Kangaroo Valley and up the pass to Roberston in the Southern Highlands, back to Sydney on Hume Hwy.

I actually 'watched' this and was going to SMS you Lee if my meeting finished in time, which it did, but then traffic was really bad and the pub seemed more attractive.

Thang; Mondial or 911? Hope you're well sir.

Ah yes, the pub - marvelous things

Had a good run - Cottage Point, Akuna Bay, up and down MCR, and then back up again cos I could. Went out before dark and had great views.

I'll try to give more notice next time, but with a young family, you take the breaks when they come!

Is another Putty run in order returning via Wollombi and Central Mangrove ? Meet at Lodge Road in Hornsby before hitting Galston gorge - I'll see if I can get round the hairpins in one go this time !Lunch in the wineries or the pub at Wollombi and ice cream at Mangrove.

We don't have to stop off at the champagne house, cheese shop or chocolate factory this time unless anyone needs some supplies.

Would love to meet up after Xmas - small family issues will prevent me attending the Sydney drinks frown

First proper blast. Sydney - RNP - Wollongong - Macquarie Pass - Bowral and home.

There are some interesting roads around here, but they take a bit of getting to. Hairpins going up Macquarie have enough visibility you can flick the PSM off and have a play. wink

That's my way home most nights, either top down on the 6 series or throwing the Ducati around thumbup

Perhaps an informal scoot around MCR one evening is on the cards for a few of us...
