Blackcircles equivalent in Aus? Or any online tyre place?

Hi folks, just found I've popped a tyre on the car and am immediately distraught at the likely cost of replacement.....bearing in mind other consumables

I was googling for an online place like camskill or blackcircles but I cannot find anywhere after spending a good amount of time.

So, can anyone recommend some sort of place like the above? I really don't want to get fisted for $150+ a tyre (it's a Hyundai hatchback) at bob janes or whatever...I can import them from the uk in 9 days for less than that!

There are a few places to St Georges tyres that do their own parallel imports and sell for cheaper.

Otherwise Tirerack in the US ship some brands, but have been made to stop by some companies.

Buying tyres in Australia is totally different to the UK. In Australia it is all based around bricks and mortar where you need to take your car in and call for pricing. In the UK there is a lot of online stores that can deliver/install to you which is unheard of here.

Yep, only just realised that...seems that online price checking and suchlike is yet to come to Aus but then again, all the people I know don't give a stuff about whether they could get 'X' good/service cheaper elsewhere as long as the price in front of them is within what they had in mind...I suppose that's a product of high wages and a booming economy!

As it happens, I sourced a tyre from a dealer mentioned here from NSW for $83 inc delivery (oem brand) and had it fitted at a local tyrepower for another $20 which was a result as Bob Jane's and a couple of other local places wanted $199-$219 (I st you not)
