Got the visa, just need a job!
Discussion
I have just received confirmation that I have a visa for Oz , so our plans for Oz are starting to really take shape.
Next on the list is to get a job. I am currently the MD of a company employing c. 100 people, turnover of £15m. We are a specialist contractor - we build sports pitches, race courses etc for top end clients. I have experience in project management, estimating, general management and like getting out and about, don't like being tied to a desk.
I have looked on seek.com.au and see there are plenty of jobs around, but feel I need to get in touch with a headhunter. Any ideas who I should be approaching? or if indeed this is the best approach?
Don't really know where yet, but Perth, Melbourne (tho concerned the weather will be too British!)Sydney or poss Adelaide.

Looked up CEO and GM jobs on seek and only found a very small number for NSW. I've tried loads of Sydney based agencies as a candidate and employer and honestly couldn't recommend any of them. However, Paula at JRS Global specialises in senior roles.
My advice would be to tailor your CV for every job and phone each agency rather than just email them.
For example, a recent CEO role in the Hunter Valley had over 80 applications by email.
Good luck
