Car registration documents / moving house

I bought a car from John Hughes about 4 weeks ago and gave them the address I was livng in at the time. I was pretty sure I'd read on here that you dont get anything through in the post to confirm registration so I wasnt too concerned that nothing arrived.

Now we've moved house, I need to notify someone that I've done so (so that my speeding fines can arrive correctly!)

How do I do this? Am I right in saying I should not have received anything to my previous address confirming registration?

Department of transport website does the job. It'll also change your address for your drivers license and send you a nice sticker.

For the car you won't receive anything just your rego renewal so keep it.
