I thought it might be worth putting together a list of those independent specialists for various marques in different states to help us all. It seems that listing by marque makes more sense to me, but feel free to change. These should probably be specialists we've had experience of using or with an acknowledged reputation. Where I can remember, I've also added the name of who I've dealt with.

Mazda
NSW - MX5 Mania, Dural

Peugeot
NSW - PQ Automotive, Chatswood (Pierre)

Porsche
NSW - Autohaus Hamilton, Dee Why (esp 911) (Scott)

Subaru
NSW - Forestville Auto Cares, Forestville (Wayne)

I know there are others!

Makes sense

NT - none that I know of.

There is one specialist who specialises in Porsche's. Also happens to be a rip off merchant. I supplied parts for what I know to be a 2 hour labour job (I didnt have the tools). $923.00.

I could have bought the tools for a local garage, paid them labour and still had half my money.

Great thread.

Any listings for Range Rover / Porsche independents in the Queensland Noosa - Brisbane area would be appreciated...,,soon to be my home patch .....excited....you bet. :-)

This is some of the work turned out by the independent Porsche specialist / tuner I used in the UK.

Cant beat a good specialist :-)

Hope you enjoy the vid.

OK update

Darwin - European Vehicle Servicing - 08 89843590 and speak to Neil Simmonds.

Ex-pat and worth his weight in Gold, specialises in Aircooled vehicles but can turn his hand to just about anything- very reasonable too.

I went there last Thursday to get my service as usual.

One kit car getting set up for club racing, 2 x Renault Clio GT Production race cars, couple of X5s and some other assorted Euro stuff.
