I rarely use in the uk.

Not likely needed too often in Queensland.

Will it make the car harder to sell if I ever want to without it?

Feedback please before I put on eBay here in the Uk.

We pay ridiculous prices for cars in Ox, compared to UK.

Have a look on carsales.com.au & compare what yours is worth in Oz, & the UK. If you have owned it for over a year, it's probably worth more here than the UK price, plus cost of bringing it over.

If you meet the eligibility requirements, you should definitely bring it over.

I had the same dilemma with a Cayenne, then saw how much they were here.

Think he's talking about the hard cover, not the whole car.

From my experience living in the tropics!! you will need it!! especially when a cyclone is en route! Rain comes in sideways and a soft top WILL NOT keep it out.

Imagine the hardest rain you experienced ever in the UK and x 10.

not such an issue if you have a garage but the person you sell onto might not have that.

Also add loads of value to the car when you come to sell it - considerably more than you would get for the top in the UK.

Thank you - decision made, hardtop goes in the container with the furniture.

Car already enroute to Southampton via the Porsche garage for a few Aussie focused tweaks....

Should all arrive in Brisbane in September sometime.

Correct decision, attached to the car won't cost any extra to ship and if you sell the hardtop here you will make a profit for sure!

Initially around Noosa to try living in a lifestyle location having spent 20 or so years around London.....but who knows...Hopefully I can find some nice windy roads without too many speed traps around there.

Im guessing early morning drives might be best as I know they are very strict on the speeding there having incurred a ticket whilst driving a campervan in the past. :-)

doesnt matter what time of day- sneaky buggers put cameras in unmarked cars by side of road!! look into local track- I can take my car to the local track which is about 10k away and run around as long as I like for $28. This is same track they race the V8 supercars on!
