Hi All

As the title sugests, does anyone know the rules of taking your own in? or food for that matter?

Food ok
Alcohol no
No Glass or BBqs

There are licensed areas around the track where you can buy beer and it is now good beer ( Coopers) the last few years it has been XXXX crap

Got my tickets last week.

Big letters saying "NO BYO" on them. Spoilsports.

got mine yesterday and yep big bold letters!! I guess they will charge a fortune for a beer at the event and didnt want to lose out. oh well should be a good day though.

Think it was a smidge under $10 last year .. same price as the football, cricket, festivals etc.

Thinking I'll head out to the hill at the moment. Wonder how the construction is going!

Hope the weather holds out too.

Been up there the past 2 weekends for bike track days. Construction is as expected. Skaife's folly will be wonderful for the elite and a big fk you to the WA motorsport fraternity.

Last weekend it was still very much a building site.

That's not good news. Do you know if they are still extending the track out into the scrub for a few km at a later date?

At a later date, yes that is the intention.

I was recently told by someone who knows that the lease on the land will be secured so that "some time, maybe not in our lifetimes" the track can be extended.

Shame .. it'd be good to have a nice length track. But hell, I've not got anything to drive round it yet.
