Anyone able to tell me where is a good place to sit now they have built the new pit lane area?

This is for the V8's next month. Last time I sat at Cecchele Esses (on the hill) and then down at Novus Corner (the last corner).

But now I believe you can't see the straight from the hill?

I havent been up to the track as yet since its completion but I know they are going to put the hospitality marquees ontop of the new pit lane garages so you will not see the start finish straight, They are putting up bigscreen tv ontop also that you can view from the esses

The esses is still going to be a good viewing area as that is where they rejoin after exiting the pits and watching them jump the kerbs through there is good also

Novis corner is going to be pit entrance as the supertaxis do not want to use the entry halfway up the hill, This also could be quite spectacular with some cars coming down the hill to pass on the inside while someone else is trying to enter the pits

I went last Sunday for a bike track day, no you won't see the SF straight from the esses or the esses from the pit grandstand.

Will be some crashes at turn 7 because of the retarded entry road the princesses wanted.

Oh and tthe place still is very much a building site, will need a huge effort for it to be ready in time.
