Might be taking my 7yr old son to an event at Kwinana Motorplex in April but unsure which would be the most entertaining for him:

6th Friday Good Friday Burnout King
7th Saturday Super Speedway: Demo Derby
11th Wednesday Formula Tech Whoop Ass
13th Friday Autotrader Fast Friday
14th Saturday Nostalgia Drags

Any ideas? James I figure you might know best!

Good Friday for beer, boobs and flannel...probably not great for a 7 year old hehe It's basically a day of drag racing and burnout competitions.

Demo Derby is always good for a giggle, 7 year olds love car crashes.

Whoop ass Wednesday is just run what ya brung stuff so...yawn...

Fast Friday will have a big mix of cars and bikes on the strip, mostly street stuff running up around the 10 second mark. They do run the speedway at the same time though so if you get bored of drags you can go and see some racing on the oval. It's just one entry fee and you walk between the two.

Nostalgia drags would be my pick. Proper old skool front engine drag cars and hot rods and noise bandit

Barbagallo is due to be open in April, not sure when yet or what events are planned.

This is on the 14th April: http://www.classicrally.com.au/2012%20Classic%20Ra...
Club level tarmac rally, easy to get close to the cars and wander around the paddock. Sponsorship opportunities available wink
