As discussed, do a run down to Jenolan Caves in January.

Did we decide on the 14th or the 21st? 21st I think. Nice Saturday run to clear the cobwebs.

Meet at the carpark opposite the RAAF base at Windsor at 9.30am for 10am departure (we will be late, just a heads up), then up over Bells Line of Way (remembering the speed camera at Kurrajong), left at Bell down the Darling Causeway, onto the Great Western Highway then turn left towards Jenolan Caves.

Narrow, twisty road which is great fun - especially the decent into madness, or Jenolan Caves House.

Fron Jenolan Caves we will head back up to Oberon for a refuel if required, then back through Duckmaloi (as fun to drive as it is to say) and to our respective homes.

If we could make it Sunday ???? I thought we decided on the weekend before Aussie day which would make it the 21st (or 22nd)

B & V

PS Given the 360km range a refuel will be required at some point between Newcatle and return (probably 2 top ups TBH)

The Lotus Hunter group are having a run out over that weekend with a BBQ so Vanessa and myself will be joining the other plastic cars for a run out. Postpone to Feb ?

Colonial, why would 7 pints hinder memory ? That was weak aussie beer not proper British stuff tongue out

If we are still on for this then I will need to come in someone else's car..............

Just sold the Porsche today, and felt really emotional as it pulled out of the drive. Feel like I have my right leg missing.

Woah, what mate? Need more details!

Put it back a couple of weeks. I'm shocked at the news.

Yep a guy flew down from Brisbane today to pick it up. I need to find someone that is planning on moving here so they can bring me another car. I fancy either a M3 or a SL55 AMG.

Will fill you in on the details but you will need to take me out for a few cold ones to help me get over it.

Hey Guys,

Looked like I missed this one, however would be interested to hear of any similar runs out of Sydney.

Originally from UK and been on a few early morning runs with PH'ers in Berks/Bucks area over the years back home.

Finally got myself into a car that I feel like driving with a bit of spirit (Only an Audi - Can't believe the cost of used cars over here!) and would be keen to meet any like minded folk and check out some of the local roads/scenery.

I am currently Inner West Sydney based.

Andrew - We may be up for an early Feb run - I'll defer to the social secretary.

SamE30 - welcome to PH Aus. Sydney based is probably good as most of the active NSW guys are based there. Feel free to come to the Hunter for a bit of wine and some decent roads though.

PS the Lotus guys are sorting a date in March for the car restoration tour if you are up for that. I will let you know what date when its released.

Sorry Matt. I always thought you were more the rental kinda guy...;-)

What are you driving these days?

We have Stu with his Porker, Andrew with his Golf R, and both are too busy to come and take me for a spin. Especially now that Andrew is a company director!!!!

I guess I'll stick with my 88 Honda Legend for now............
