German Auto licence in Oz

The OH has a German driving licence for automatic cars, does anyone know if she can drive a manual in Aus.

She has had the licence for over 7 years. I have tried to read up on the RTA site and its not mentioned.

I would hazard a guess that she can not drive a manual. Here in Aus we have auto and manual licences and it is illegal to drive a manual car on an auto licence.

Thats what I thought, if its an international licence I dont know if this makes a difference though.

Is the RTA the guys that will know, ill Have to call them?

Not strictly true depending on state.

In NSW you can get an auto only licence. However, that only applies for the fisrt 1 year of driving. After that there is no difference.
