Maybe just a bit too low now. Will get it raised up this week hopefully, now moved into daily driving duties. just over a year old 10,000kms
When one VF is not enough, completely demolish the bank account. Just under a week old. Car is a bit ridiculous!
Oohh - the GTS is nice. I've only driven one on a slalom course - they aren't designed to be slalomed through cones, the front tyres don't like it When one VF is not enough, completely demolish the bank account. Just under a week old. Car is a bit ridiculous!
The Redline looks okay at that height - the massive arch gap always annoys me, especially at the rear. It makes 19 and 20 inch wheels look small. Is it rubbing, or just too low for daily duties?

Ooof like that - nice!
So, what's it like? And do you spend more time at the pump than behind the wheel?
That's lovely
It does like drinking! Comfortable in touring mode. Haven't really tried the loud modes too much. So, what's it like? And do you spend more time at the pump than behind the wheel?

It's not slow, and it stops well to.

Nice, how do they compare?
One is fast and the other is very fast! The SSV is nice, the GTS is more comfy and stops a bit better obviously.
Neither has a sunroof as I needed the headroom. There is more headroom in the GTS than the Maloo I used to own.
Fast? How fast?

I do keep looking at the new GTS and think they are an awesome bit of kit. The SSV is nice, the GTS is more comfy and stops a bit better obviously.

Shame they couldn't shed a few hundred kg, it's the one thing I didn't like about the VE.
A friend hired a Blue thing a few days ago.
Bit unfair to bring the faster Black one along so bought the less fast one along.
He hired it through Hertz, told me they had Redlines available but I cannot find them on their webpage. Might have to copy and paste the links.

Here is one of his actual cars with the faster black car.

Hey guys!
Haven't posted for a while, been manically busy since relocating from Perth to the Central Coast and my new job sees me interstate and intercountry more often than not!
I got rid of the FJ Cruiser and will replace it with something on lease later in the year, not sure yet what I'll go for, probably something in the $60k price range.
As I currently spend more time in the air than on the road I decided to pick up a bit of a project car to tinker around with at weekends and found a 2006 Citroen C4 Coupe VTS for $2k with a new pink slip and 4 brand new tyres.
It has all the usual gimmicks such as Bi-xenon directional auto lights, auto wipers, cruise, climate etc.
Need to get the timing belt done and a few bits tidied and fixed, but, it drives OK, not the fastest thing but compared to the FJ Cruiser, it handles a bit better!

I have attended the Bathurst 12 hour, but nothing beats a 24 hour with the added extra of the prototypes.

Collected this on Friday - went for a Redline wagon this time.
I suspect it may be the last Australian built Commodore I get - supply is a bit restricted now that the end date is fixed. I'm going to order one on the off change though.
I was right unfortunately - they cancelled my order for another Commodore so today saw the end of an era when I took it to work for the last time. I came home in this:
It has DAB, which is nice.

Thanks for the recommendation, they will be just around the corner for me as I'm in Tascott. I'll give him a call for a quote on the timing belt.

Nice area - I grew up in Lisarow. A heap of my friends would have run near your place yesterday doing the bay to bay half marathon. Stef
Been a bit quiet myself. Brought a company a few months back in Newcastle.
Means I'm commuting from Avalon Sydney to Thornton four days a week. Leaving at 5am and getting back around 6pm, trudge trudge trudge...
Got a 428i convertible and ditched the GLE AMG (economy was killing it). Getting a pretty reasonable 6.4l/100km on the slog. Already clocked up 10,000k's in a couple of months

Passed my bike Ps test last week and due to my considerable age it's the last test I'll ever do - converts automatically to a full licence in 12 months.
Took the Lincoln up to the Gosford Car Museum on Saturday - my lord they've got some very very special stuff in there. If you've not been I suggest you do.
Off to Blighty in September for just over 3 weeks - first time back since 2003 - I'm sure that'll be an eye-opener.
