My Halcyon Midas Pearl TVR, is soon to be having a full respray.
Had a price of £1050 inc vat, from well known supplier of tvr paints.
Decided to get a price from local supplier ,who offered a paint by Max Meyer.(TVR colour).
Qouted less than half of original estimate, for the same volumes.
Can anybody tell me the differences i can expect to find,by using M.Meyer produced products?Infererior qaulity etc?
Also, was considering having my alloys painted in an anthracite colour.Has anyone had this done, and was it durable?
Looking forward to any feedback,thanks,Al

Max Meyer paints are by the PPG group, one of the top automotive coatings suppliers. If properly applied, their products should last at least as well as any competitor's.

I've sprayed some of the PPG waterborne, it's excellent stuff. I think it was branded as Envirobase, but where exactly the lines are drawn between PPG/Nexa/Max Meyer stuff has never been clear to me!
