Acid dipping space frame chassis

Ive had conflicting opions on whether to seal all the internal threads or to leave them open.
My logical way of thinking is what ever goes in comes out,so let the interal tube get treated too.
It will be neutralized then phosphate treated,the powdercoating company is worried about any reminent acid remaining,I think there would be more chance if acid somehow got through what I had sealed up and couldn't get neutralized.
Any expert advice?
