Polishing/waxing window glass?
Discussion
I'm about to give my '99 Audi a first ever coat of carnauba wax and I'm wondering whether to do the side windows too. Any thoughts? I'm hoping it'd work like RainX perhaps? Won't be doing the windscreen though - I'm guessing that'd become smeary.
Have given it one coat of polish with Autoglym Super Resin. Tomorrow will do another one and then apply the wax. I applied the Autoglym to the side & rear windows and the cloth came off black so it's clearly removed some grubby film from the glass.
TIA

Remember reading something way back that said you should never ever use body wax on windows because it caused vision problems at night.
That might have been the old style solid wax, but probably still better to play it safe and stick to Autoglym glass polish or similar products made for the job.
