Darken the paintwork...

I suspect the ultimate answer to this is for a respray, however....is there a product/technique to effectively darken the colour of my passenger door (GRP) as it is slightly lighter tha the adjecant rear end!? Rear end has had respray due to small knock before I bought the car, didnt really notice it for months but now its starting to annoy me a little. Colour is avus blue, btw.
Have tried using commercially available products (from Halfords, turtle stuff...) to no avail.
Is there anything? Want to avoid respray for couple of years if poss..!!
