Armourfend and wax
Discussion
Mr Tony,
We recommend owners of cars that we have fitted Paintshield to just wash and wax as usual. In fact it is advisable to wax it often. Please do not though use any form of polish as this will cause scratching to the film (such as T Cut etc). If the film has just been applied, then wait 5 days before washing so that it gives the film time to grip.
Also when cleaning, do not aim a pressure washer jet at any of the edges of the film as they have been known to lift.
In the event of a corner peeling, you can get an alcohol wipe and wipe the sticky side. This should activate the adhesive again allowing the film to be restuck.
Hope this helps.
