lacquer peeling off

The lacquer is peeling off on the rear wings of the Chimaera around the boot hinges. Can anything be done about this other than a respray? Not a massive area, but makes it look a bit shabby. Peeling area is about 3" diameter I reckon. Rear wings are pretty good otherwise so a little loathed to splash out on a respray, especially as the front desperately needs doing right now!!

I'll try and find some pics of the dodgy area when I'm in front of my home PC.

the only way to fix it mate is to have them painted

If it's what I'm thinking is happening, a bit of clear nail varnish around the edge will stop it spreading. Otherwise the spray is the only fix.
