Does anyone have a good web resource for the design of a flat floor and underbody/rear venturi. I have a couple of ideas but would like to know more about the science behind it

Try reading Competition Car Aerodynamics - A Practical Handbook by Simon McBeath (ISBN 1 84425 230 2) it does a really good job of explaining how and why things work.
