Accessories for pressure washer
Discussion
I have a Husqvarna pressure washer, I gather it's actually made by Nilfisk as it seems to accept Nilfisk accessories e.g. nozzles, foam bottles etc. It's a nice enough machine but the hose is a pain - it has a mind of it's own and writhes around on the driveway like an epileptic snake on meth. If there's a better alternative (even a reel like a normal hose?) then I'm interested to hear about that.
I also see people using these short gun attachments rather than the long, standard one. It seems that this might be a bit less cumbersome to use - is that a correct assumption in the view of those who have/used them? Any good recommendations for these?
I would also need a foam gun/bottle to work with any new hose and trigger. Hoping there's a company that does all of the above suitable for a Nilfisk/Husqvarna washer...?

Hose needs to be rubber, not plastic, not cheap.
I bought a short gun with quick release interchangeable nozzles, and yes for car washing the pistol sized gun is much easier and quicker to use than a long lance, this gun and fittings (note Kranzle fittings so not the one for you), you can find cheaper but have found over the years cheap pressure washers and fittings don't last, hopefully they'll have what you need.

I also bought some stainless steel quick release fittings for my various guns/patio washer/drain jetter etc, no point in linking the site because Kranzle specialists only, i did buy some non stainless quick release fittings some years ago but they tend to rust and those little rust flakes end up blocking the narrow jet nozzles, kicked myself every time had to take the nozzle out and poke it clear..

Thanks both.

What is their hose like to use? Does it stay put on the floor or want to coil back up and twist itself in knots all the time?https://www.directhoses.net/

Didn’t last long though sprung a leak about 70cm from the end. Bought a repair kit and cut the hose and used the kit but it only lasted another 6 months before another leak.
Only a DIYer and used probably 20 times.
They never answer e mails so it’s a lot of money for something lasting not long.

Doesn't coil but can't answer to the longevity of it, I have a wall mounted reel with the blue hose.Belle427 said:

They are slow to respond to emails but if you call them and leave a message they usually get back to you.
Plenty of other suppliers of this stuff online, it's all very similar.

I bought their Nilfisk adapter and a 10m rubber hose & stubby gun kit a couple of years ago. Night and day versus the rather rigid plastic hose supplied by Nilfisk. And it opens up all manner of accessories by converting to the standard quick fit connectors.Belle427 said:

Their own-brand pressure washers are very decent as well. That's what replaced my rather unreliable old Nilfisk machine.
Just FYI, all these kind of accessories are available all over the show, I saved a fortune buying from Aliexpress - brass adapter to the "standard" screw-fit hose, then the gun with the 1/4" quick-release.
After that you can add wands, nozzle ends, hose extensions, the whole works from anywhere.
