I was on hols in France in June this year. I used plent of Autoglym leather conditioner to the seats in my fairly low mileage 2016 Cayman before the hols.

However, I came back to the car after having been in the sun one afternoon to find the usual uniformly textured drivers seat to have retextured itself on the outer edge as per the photo. How do I restore to its usual finely textured look, the difference can be seen in the photo. that portion of the seat feels a lot rougher to the toch, which is what I initially noticed.

That looks fairly normal for a natural material, unless you’re intending to keep it absolutely pristine for the next owner

Anyway, getting creases out of leather is made easier when using a damp cloth and an iron and lightly iron the creases carefully - the heat and moisture will remove any creases

As above, looks completely normal and steam can help remove or reduce creases.

The photo also highlights the different grades of 'leather' used - the inner part of the bolster being pleather.

Cheers.

The cracked portion only appeared after being exposed to strong sunlight, before that it had looked and felt the same as the rest of the leather in the car.

It’s not creased, it’s now just a roughened texture, completely different to the touch.
