Time to repair and repaint bumper
Discussion
Hello,
A noob question to piston heads:
Ford C-Max's rear bumper got deep scratches on the corner while parked. Estimate of repair is to strip, repair, repaint, and refit bumper and they are telling me that they estimate it will take 10 working days...
I have no idea (hence my question) but that sounds like an awfully long time. What do you think?
Thanks!

Is that the turnaround time or the time spent on the job? (and chargable)
Turnaround time. They are quoting £300 plus VAT for labour so time on the job is going to me much shorter, me thinks.
I'd like a feel whether this turnaround time is reasonable before challenging this...

Yeah, that seems like a long time for that tbh. I've had cars in for repair work, bumper, wheel repair, headlight replacement, bonnet painted etc and they turned it around quicker than that. They are quoting £300 plus VAT for labour so time on the job is going to me much shorter, me thinks.
