Polishing the pipe
Discussion
Need some advice from the detailing pros!
So I have commenced the winter strip down of the bike, the stainless exhaust pipes need polishing back from the dull tarnish they are due to heat..
I have some autosol, 1200 emery paper and quite a few polishing wheels with the stainless compound..
In what order should the above be used, could someone be kind enough to give me a step by step guide?

The Manthey exhaust on my GT3 had never been cleaned, I used the softest wire wool I could find followed by a foam pad attached to a drill. Both these abrasives were cut with chemical guys heavy metal polish.
I then finished off with poor boys metal polish and a rag. Came up like new.
I’ve got some evolve ceramic coating for wheels that I put on it and it simply needs a wash and wipe now.
