I’m looking for any tips to remove coatings which are on my Passat windscreen.

My wipers judder horrendously when it rains.

I have tried new wipers (two months ago), autoglym glass polish, clay bar, vinegar and isopropyl alcohol.

The juddering wipers seem worse and the windscreen still beads water.

What am I missing?

Try Carpro Ceriglass.

Labour intensive, but it works well.

This is all you'll need:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/SOFT99-Ultra-Glaco-Glass-...

Use the prep to remove everything off the screen, then apply the coating. Keeps the glass hydrophobic well over 12 months which will help with the wiper judder. The prep stuff properly strips everything off the glass first so if you do just want that get it on it's own but I've used both and they're the best thing I've coated glass in.
