Cleaner for rubber cable

Recently got a used EV.

The charging cable looks like it's been dragged around the warehouse floor, it's filthy!

Any recommendations for a cleaner?

Presumably, the spray is the same stuff?

A rag wet with meths will probably get all off. Test first, but it’s always my goto cleaner, almost nothing you can’t use it on.
