Colourising wax or cutting compound?

Personally I wouldn't bother, and assuming that you're not looking for significant paint correction, would go for Autoglym Super Resin polish. Mildly abrasive with fillers for minor swirls and scratches.

I can also highly recommend Sonax Xtreme Polish and Wax. Comes in three variants from mild cutting action with wax/sealant to moderate cut with lower levels of wax/sealant. I use the middle one, leaves a really clean gloss finish. Can be topped over with Sonax Protect and Shine polymer sealant for extended protection.

Never heard of it, stick to tried and tested products that work well.

a bottle of autoglym or similar will last the average home user a few years , no need to search out some unheard of cheapo product

i bet the decent brands are less than £1 per use
