Colourising wax or cutting compound?
Personally I wouldn't bother, and assuming that you're not looking for significant paint correction, would go for Autoglym Super Resin polish. Mildly abrasive with fillers for minor swirls and scratches.
I can also highly recommend Sonax Xtreme Polish and Wax. Comes in three variants from mild cutting action with wax/sealant to moderate cut with lower levels of wax/sealant. I use the middle one, leaves a really clean gloss finish. Can be topped over with Sonax Protect and Shine polymer sealant for extended protection.
