Recently I was doing timed miles on a airfield.
During the course of the day I had about 3,000.000 flies get splattered over the front of my car.
I have cleaned the car twice since with snow foam and hand washed with Maguers shampoo.
You can still see loads of splattered fly marks. Does anyone have a way of getting the marks off ?

Chemical Guys make a good product and Car Pro Bug Out isn’t bad.

Ordered the Gtechniq one, I'll see how it goes.

You may need a light Polish if it doesn't work.

Soften them up a bit first. Old sheet or towel soaked and left on for an hour or two. Rehydrates the remains and makes them easier to remove.

Once you've got it clean then apply a ceramic coating of some kind (DIY is fine), and wipe them off with a damp microfibre after a drive rather than letting them dry and bond onto the surface. It takes about 30 seconds to do and saves a lot of effort.

Put some spiders on there and they will lick it all off.

Motorcyclists drape a wet cloth over their (motorcycle - some on this forum may need this level of clarity..!) helmet and leave it for a while. The flies wipe away easily. You might need an old bed sheet for a car.

A wet microfiber left on the panel for a while has always worked for me

It’s excellent and won’t affect any wax or coating you may have applied. I’ve tried the soaked towel approach and it works, but the GT bug remover is better.
