Matte / Satin Paint Repair
Discussion
Hi everyone,
I am the owner of a car with a satin finish and although I think it looks great, it's a nightmare to maintain.
Does anyone have any tips and tricks for removing or repairing small scuffs or stone chips? I'm a dab hand with a polisher, but that's no good here.
Anything at all would be useful as I don't really want to respray a full panel (again)
Thanks!

Matt/satin paint is a nightmare & I can't understand why the car makers ever thought it was a good idea.
Anything you do to try & polish out scuffs is going to leave you with a noticeably different area so it's a refinish job.
I wouldn't take on anything that is matt or satin.
Several of the local bodyshops wouldn't touch it either.
