Alkaline snow foam and carbon ceramic brakes
Discussion
I’ve used up a fair bit of old cleaning chemicals and need some replacements. I’m a bit fed up with ph neutral snow foams not doing a great deal, and decided to go with an alkaline product.
However, I remember a few years ago a forum member recommended against APC’s on carbon ceramics, and I was wondering if the same applies to alkaline products?
I won’t be purposely covering them in foam but will be doing wheel arches, so it’s inevitable some will get on discs.
Can’t really find much info online, so was wondering what consensus is here.
