Spraying up my headlight washer covers for my xc90 as they were mismatched. Primed, colour and clear coat.

Happy with the result but wondered if there was anyway to finish them off better. See pic a little wavy.

Any tips on the finish would be appreciated as would like to move on the unpainted wing mirrors next.

How long do I wait until I can sand it back?

If you can leave it on top of radiator a couple of days should suffice..

Wet sanded with 2000
Polished (although only had autoglym super resin polish)
Turned out bette than I expected. Couple of dust spots and an area on each where I sanded through on the corners. Think my coats were too thin as I barely touched the corners and was really careful. Hey ho they’ll go on now until summer when I do the mirror caps and I’ll do them again

👍
