Rust Protection with Bilt Hamber

Hello,

I am looking to give the Jaguar S type some rust proofing love and a friend is also looking to do the same with his car.

Has anyone used the Bilt Hamber UB stuff before ? We were thinking of buying a 5L tub due to the cost vs the cans but has anyone done similar / how did they apply it.

We were thinking garden sprayers / spray bottles then brushing on easy to reach places but is this realistic or does it not work too well in this way ?

You would need a compressor and the spray equipment to apply it, its a fairly thick consistency so i dont think anything else would work.

If you can get it hot ( bucket with boiling water in it) & thin about 10% with white spirit it will go on with a good quality hand sprayer - something like a canyon sprayer head on any sort of bottle. A couple of coats should do it.
The UB stuff is a bit thinner & better for inside box sections etc.
It's a bit of a messy job ....
