Gibson ceramic treatment

I was talking to somebody who was singing the praises of Gibson ceramic bodywork treatment . I have a keeper MX5 ND and thought this might be worth looking into - I'm a lazy sod when it comes to car cleaning and the treatment apparently keeps the car incredibly shiny and repels most road muck etc . And Mazda paint is reputedly not the most robust , although my car is fine so far.

I know absolutely nothing about this sort of treatment so any info welcome , and any recommendations for firms who do it (Gibson's difficult to access website shows the product , but it seems they don't apply it themselves ) - I'm in Thirsk , North Yorkshire .

There are lots of this type of ceramic coating around.
Maybe find a local detailer and pop and have a chat with them about what they can offer you.
