I assume there is nothing magic that can be used - does this need to be re-covered?

Maybe drop these guys an email about the colour match but they will have something that will improve it.
The balms are pretty good.

Before you re-cover that, speak to whoever it is that does your local Land Rover leather repairs.

I have had quite tired leather re-finished and the results have been durable. I didn't watch them do the work, I think they may have sprayed the seats.
