Bumper Scuff - home repair
Discussion
Hi All,
I scuffed my Fiesta bumper on weekend. Apart from the scuff, the bumper is excellent.
Local bodyshop wanted £280 to spray whole bumper.
Revive smart repair quoted £275 for a repair to scuff only!
I could try other body shops, but wondered if for the time being I could do a repair at home to make it look better than it currently is (e.g. mask off sorrunding areas, sand down scuff, prime and then spray and lacquer). Any body have any advice on what you would do in this situation?

Get on Paint Gear, order their colour matched kit and then do this.
I had road rash down on the skirts on my SLK plus a scratch similar to yours on the lower front bumper (underneath). I put some of the paint onto a microfibre, rubbed it in and let it dry for a few minutes then hit with Farecla 360 on a drill and the difference was amazing. It took a long time to pluck up the courage to do this but it was so easy and the results were amazing.

Thanks for this. Just brought the drill attachment, polishing pad and Farecla G360 compound (already have gloss enhanced color matched paint). Can't wait to do it, and will post back the results.
