I was recommended a product by someone once but I lost the name and no amount of Googling can I find it! it was a syringe ceramic product they added to their pressure washer bottle and used in their pressure washer after a wash once a month I think they said and it gave the car really good beading and water repellent properties

I'm looking for something like this that I can use that will help keep the car clean and repel water that is easy to apply via pressure washer, nothing that requires applying by hand. Any ideas? I used Autoglym Polar Wax before but didn't think it was very good.

Thanks,

Probably not the same thing, but I use Autogylm Polar Seal

Spray on, rinse off, leave nice beading and a lovely shine.

Yes I already use that - it's fine for washing but not what I'm looking for, thanks.

This isn't ceramic, but a spray wax you can apply via the foam cannon, works very well https://www.ezcarcare.co.uk/collections/finish-new...

I've used Auto Finesse Lavish in the past which has been reasonably hard wearing.

Don’t add it to the detergent tank of a pressure washer, it’s meant for snow foam bottles. Are you thinking of Duel Flex? Don’t get hung up about the word ‘ceramic’. Nothing you will add this way will be ceramic, it’s just a marketing gimmick.

The problem with these products is that if you use them too much and don’t deep clean your car, they can’t work as effectively, and will layer themselves, with the contamination in between. They stop beating as hydrophobic and glossy as the base paint isn’t as clean as it should be, clogged in a haze of polymers and hard water minerals.

Autoglym’s Polar Seal is actually one of the best of these out there. The trade version is called Coat It, if anyone wants a bulk buy cheaper version.

Infinity Wax Boost does this, great product.

I also water it down in a spray bottle for a top up when needed or to use as a drying aid.
