Please forgive the naff title, I was just playing with words.

My car is due a proper wash/polish/wax etc. Last time I did this it took two days and i had all kinds of aches and pains afterwards. Yes, I’m slow, weak and feeble.
The car is six months old and bar some stone chips, had paint in good, clean condition. It’s only been washed by hand or by jet wash (no brushes) and has little or no swirling etc.

I’ve treated myself to a DA polisher as I’d like to to a better job, AND hopefully do it with a little less effort in a little less time. But it’s what to put at the business end of the polisher where I’ve got lost. Put simply, can anyone recommend any pads (Hex Logic colours), polished and waxes at all? The more I research, the worse my state of confusion gets!

If it helps, I already have a load of Meguiars stuff kicking about: Ultimate Compound, Ultimate Polish and Ultimate (paste) Wax. Worth sticking with these, or are there better products about? Judging by the chips and the general reputation of Korean cars, I’m assuming the paint is rather soft.

Thanks for any help!

I like chemical guys pads, probably best to stick to the finishing pads if the paint is in good condition.

Rupes uno may be a good product for you to try but I've read the protection isn't great so would benefit from an extra layer of protection.

Another vote for Rupes, great time and effort saver, just needs a last step protection. For my LSP I use Chemical Guys Jet Seal, easy to apply and remove.

Jet Seal lasts the sum total of 1 month. It probably has the worst cost to performance rating of any LSP out there, in typical Chemical Guys fashion. Just letting you know so you can find something better.

For wax, the best for longevity I've used is Bilt Hamber's Double Speed Wax
