My tuscan is going in for a body off chassis restoration this year, i'm buying as much stuff as i can new. I have ordered a new water and oil catch tank that i'm going to get highly polished. I have also brought a new exhaust with polished raer boxes. Would it be possible to ceramic coat these to make it all easier to clean.

You can as long as you use high temp ceramic coating (designed for wheels etc)

It probably wont be as durable as on wheels as the heat is higher but should still protect it to a degree.

Might be worth looking at Cerakoting?

Had it done as a paint process on so much stuff and really like it, tough, mega durable and very thin.

Seems like they do offer a clear version that would easily protect the polished stuff.

I tried some Carpro Dlux wheel ceramic coat on my car’s exhaust tips, seemed pretty good but it will struggle on the back boxes due to the heat, tar fallout etc.

Just make sure you wash them as part of the Tuscan’s regular washing and they should be fine.
