Window trim lifting
Discussion
If you can take the window right down, you can pull the trim right off and squeeze it closed again so it grips properly, and then press it down back into place.
You don't need adhesives but if you wanted to, you should try and find some strong waterproof double sided tape for car trim, like something by 3M or similar - you should be able to buy a single sheet off ebay rather than buy a roll of the stuff.

You don't say how old the car is but, if it's over 10 years old, the chances are that it has rusted internally and that has destroyed its ability to grip the flange on the door. If so, you'll be looking at replacing it, glue doesn't really work in these situations, but nothing really to lose (apart from getting glue all over the door!)

It's a 2017 so hopefully not rusted underneath.ReverendCounter said:

I'll give that a go thanks. I do wonder if it's been bent by someone in the past though, that's why it's not fitting properly and might not ever. You might get away with just lifting that corner up a bit and squeezing it together before pushing it back down - the rest of it looks fine. Gassing Station | Bodywork & Detailing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
