There is no best but one that regularly comes out top in a lot of opinions is Bilt Hamber Auto Wash.

The Forensic Detrailing Channel got me onto Carchem 1900:1. Works well for me and doesn't strip wax (BH Double Speed Wax anyway!). It's great value if you're a tight arse like me!

I did a lot of research in to shampoos and was using some autobrite direct stuff that works well in warmer conditions and doesn't dry out as much.

I've recently got hold of some Infinity Wax Millions special edition stuff and that is by far the best shampoo i've used in years. Not sure if they will update their normal shampoo to a similar product as their normal stuff is pretty useless.

Before that I used Megs Hyperwash for years and it was a very very good shampoo. Especially for foaming shampoo on instead of using a bucket.
