the car is suffering from tin worm and i need to consider replacement of rear arches and front bottoms of the wings - probably other stuff i haven't found yet - can anyone suggest anybody (individual or company)who could do the work without breaking the bank - preferably within reasonable travelling distance of SOUTHEND ON SEA (maybe up to 80 miles)
I haven't had any experience of having car bodywork undertaken before so any idea how much this should cost - is it possible to have the metal work done and then have the new paint at a later date to spread the cost out.
Thanks

The car will need to be seen for anyone to give you an idea of what's possible & what isn't without replacing complete panels.

Tin worm is invariably worse than it first appears & the full extent may only become apparent when the work begins.

It would not be normal to carry out bodywork involving metal replacement without also painting as the paint is what will prevent new rust.
